Open Letter To United States Transportation
This open letter reduces American state power to a single obscene navigation problem: given the nation's current trajectory and speed, how soon are we going to be in Hell? Addressed to Transportation Secretary Norman Mineta and copied to the Bush administration's imperial cast, the work turns bureaucratic correspondence into conceptual weaponry. Its brevity is the insult; where policy language expects analysis, Williams supplies a question so blunt that it collapses transportation, foreign policy, morality, and damnation into one line. The signature, seal, edition notation, and institutional-looking layout make the letter function as both political address and collectible artwork.
